Appliqué is a different technique from embroidery. The florals here are cut from tissue and stitched onto the silk, which gives them a raised edge that flat embroidery cannot, and gold-toned sequin work is set around them. Black premium silk underneath. An appliqué shawl for receptions and evening functions, sold on its own rather than with an ensemble. Delivery is three to four weeks.
