Print doing the work, not embroidery

These ten pieces are built around a digitally printed motif with only light hand-finishing at necklines and borders. That is the opposite of how most of the catalogue is made, and it is why this edit is the easiest to wear more than once. Florals, ombre washes and painterly patterns across net, silk and Korean raw silk.

Why Korean raw silk takes print well

Its surface is drier and less reflective than a softer silk, so a printed edge stays sharp instead of blurring into the weave. Florianze is the clearest example here: no embroidery at all, the whole design carried by the print.
