Three lawns, chosen for different jobs

Every lawn dress in this edit is cut from slub, masoori or karandi lawn. Slub carries a slight texture of its own, which helps white-on-white work like Safoora. Masoori takes fine thread detailing. Karandi is the one that breathes best through a long Eid morning, and it is what the Eid-e-Nazakat pieces are built on.

The work that goes on lawn

Chiffly embroidery, boring, cutwork, resham thread and organza extensions. Chiffly is stitched close enough to read as texture rather than motif; boring and cutwork are made by removing thread rather than adding it. None of it is heavy, because lawn is not a fabric that should be asked to carry weight.

Stitched or unstitched, and what it costs

Zard Bahaar, Safoora and Ferozaan are offered both ways, so you can take the ready-to-wear suit or have the fabric tailored to your own measurements. Prices start at PKR 7,199, the lowest in the catalogue. Delivery is one to two weeks, and every order ships worldwide.
