The only sarees we make

Bunto is six pieces, and the only place in the catalogue you will find a Pakistani saree. Tajwar and Dastoor-e-Ishq are cut from premium sheesha silk. Moonlit Grace is pure silk with a chiffon blouse. Rubina-e-Bahar pairs a pure medium silk saree with a net blouse, and Shahi Gulnaar reverses that, setting a net saree against a velvet blouse. Black Brilliance is black sequin net finished with a golden organza pallu.

Hyderabadi muqaish, and why the price sits there

Muqaish is the technique this line is built on. Moonlit Grace carries double silver Hyderabadi muqaish handwork. Tajwar carries it heavy and handcrafted across both saree and blouse, and Shahi Gulnaar works it alongside marrori and resham embroidery. It is slow work, done by hand, and that is what puts the line between PKR 95,500 and 140,200. Black Brilliance takes a different route — heavy cutdana, sequin and threadwork with an embellished scalloped pallu.

Draping, and what to expect

A saree asks more of the wearer than a stitched suit, and it repays that at a reception or a walima where everyone else is in a frock. Each one arrives stitched and ready to wear with its blouse, so there is nothing to have made up first. Delivery runs three to four weeks on five of the six.
